TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following information provides details of our booking terms, so please read through carefully and ensure you understand ALL terms and conditions.
BOOKINGS
Due to limited places it is advisable to book early to save disappointment.
Your place on a course is only secure once a deposit has been paid.
Bookings can only be confirmed once full payment has been made.
DEPOSITS
Your place on a course is only secure once full payment has been paid.
In the event of a genuine reason for cancellation (proof of which may be required) a
request for transfer to a later course will be considered at our discretion. Transfer fee of £50 per course will apply.
OUTSTANDING BALANCE
The FULL balance is payable no later than 14 days before your course start date, or immediately if less than 14 days at time of booking.
PAYMENT METHODS
Debit/credit card online at time of booking or Tel 0141 221 9253 to make payment by phone.
CANCELLATIONS
Courses cancelled or transferred within 48 hours before the course date: 100% of fee is payable.
· Courses cancelled or transferred within 7 days before the course date: 75% of fee is payable.
· Courses cancelled or transferred within 14 days before the course date: 50% of fee is payable.
Courses transferred (at our discretion) will incur a transfer fee of £50 per course.
In the unlikely event the course date you have chosen is cancelled by the tutor you will be offered an alternative date, if you cannot attend this date you will receive a full refund. It is however very rare that a course will be cancelled.
STANDARDS
In the event that the tutor feels that the student does not meet the required standard to
successfully complete the necessary criteria, then they will be invited back to the next available class with our compliments.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
We put students safety and comfort first at all times, and as with any treatment there are contraindications to consider which may affect your participation in the class, therefore we request you check that you or your practice student (if applicable) does not suffer from any of the following contra-indications:
Pregnancy – within first 3 months or history of miscarriage/complications
Infectious skin/nail/ear/eye disorders
Allergies or extreme sensitivity to cosmetic products or procedures
Diabetes
Epilepsy
Heart condition
Recent illness/injury
Recent surgery
Cancer, HIV/AIDS
Any other condition that may prevent student from receiving any treatments
If you or your practice model does have any contra-indications, then a letter from GP may be required to state it is safe to receive treatments. If you have any concerns regarding contraindications then we will be happy to discuss them with you, however advice from a medical professional is always advisable.
PRACTICE MODELS
Practice models may be required depending on numbers.
Practice models MUST be provided for the following courses:
Holistic Body Massage – please arrange model for both days. Day 1 from 10.45am, Day 2 from 10am.
Hot Stone Therapy – please arrange a model from 10.45am
Reflexology- please arrange a model from 10am
Lash Extensions – please arrange a model from 12noon.
Failure to provide models for the courses above may be denied the opportunity to take the course without refund.
PREPARATION FOR YOUR COURSE Please note that if you are the first student to book onto a course, we will ask you to provide a model for the practical session. (This will ensure course is not cancelled due to minimum numbers).
Please note that students must be willing to work in pairs and practice on each other during training, (except where models are required) If for any reason you cannot receive a treatment, then you will be required to provide a practice model.
As students are required to work in pairs during training, we ask everyone to
consider these minor preparation measures before attending courses:
Dress Code Please dress with salon wear if available, or if not, please wear comfortable clothing with short sleeves and comfortable shoes.
Nail Courses
Students and models are required to remove nail enhancements, gel overlays, nail polish etc. before attending any gel polish manicure courses.
Eye Enhancements and Facial Courses
Students and models must remove eyelash extensions, false lashes etc. before attending lash extensions, lash lift or lash tinting courses.
Students and models are required to grow eyebrows for at least 2 weeks before attending Eyebrow Tinting & Shaping course, Waxing course, Threading course or Eyebrow Definition course.
Students and / or models are required to have patch test at least 24 hours before attending Eyelash &
Eyebrow Tinting, Lash Lift, and Brow Lamination courses.
Waxing Courses
Students and models are required to have a minimum of two weeks or ¼ inch hair growth before attending Waxing courses. If the student does not have the necessary hair growth, then they MUST provide practice model. Failure to do so will result in the student being unable to participate in class and incur a £50 transfer fee to next available course.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students attending Holistic Body Massage Diploma Course must have Anatomy & Physiology Certificate.and Hot Stone before attending.
Students attending Hot Stone Therapy Diploma Course MUST have relevant Anatomy & Physiology qualification and Body Massage Diploma Course and before attending.
